Scheduled Groups
TOGS, will continue to host various groups that meet on a regular basis. If you are interested in any of the published groups, please call for more information and a contact person. If you are looking for a meeting place, please call!
Groups
First Saturday: This day is all about passing our love of sewing along to the next generation! 9am-3pm is reserved for the younger generation, and for those who want to work with the younger generation. Call for information, or stop in to see what we are up to. This day is a $15, class fee.
Third Saturday: New Group! Hoop Stisters, for the love of machine embroidery! This group is for those who are fairly new to Machine embroidery. Each month will introduce new techniques, and ideas for you to expand your' knowledge. Most of these groups will be for a fee of $10,and software requirement, unless we have a guest teacher. April will we will see our own fabulous embroidery queen, of Bullard Designs, Bobbi Bullard, teaching , Making Lines. This class will have a class fee and software fee.
Fourth Wednesday: Wednesday Wonders: Discovering the fun of sewing. Check in to see what is on the schedule each month.
Second Thursday: 9am: Sew Threads 2: An American Sewing Guild Group. This is a community service group, sewing many different kinds of items for various groups in Amador and El Dorado county. Love to sew, love to laugh, come on in!
Second Thursday:1pm: A Mixed Bag: An American Sewing Guild Group. This is a group that love to sew all sorts of things. The group votes on most projects, and does many types of sewing, new and traditional techniques. Calling ahead to check on the current projects and for supply lists, is advised.
Second Wednesday: Embroidery for everyone. Projects in a hoop! Each month finds us making fun product in the hoop. Join in. $5, per month, includes one free design. Do register for this class.
First, Third and Fifth Thursday:
Thursday Therapy! Fun group of ladies who love to quilt, and share their love of quilting.
Third Wednesday: Rather Bees quilt group. Love those quilts, and all the great techniques.
Fourth Monday:Drytown Quilters: This is an American Sewing Guild group. Beginning, and intermediate quilters, having fun working on community quilts, and learning new techniques to carry on with their own quilts. All quilters, and Want-to-be quilters welcome!
